Eli took a fall down the stairs today and the baby gate was up. He somehow figured out how to spin the part on the side that keeps the gate closed tight enough and I didn't realize that it had been loosened. I think he was trying to throw something down the stairs and was leaning on the part that opens up. He was ok, but it scared me half to death. So we decided it would probably be safer to take the gate down. He did really well going down on his belly and I think he likes having the extra freedom.
